I really like Fethiye, it's a lovely town with plenty of good places to eat and nice shops. There also seem to be plenty of nice little parks.

Butterfly Valley
Butterfly Valley (http://www.yenikelebeklervadisi.org/en/) is a half hour boat trip away from the very busy Ölüdeniz (a bit Blackpool with Sun & paragliding). Butterfly Valley is a gorgeous little gorge that spills down to the sea in a small beach. It's hard to get to except by boat and is famed for the presence of Jersey Tiger Butterflies that are apparently pretty rare.

Kayaköy - Ghost Village
A local goose
A local goose that doesn't like visitors!
The village was abandoned in the 1920s by it's Greek inhabitants after Ataturk defeated the invading Greek army. There were population exchanges and the Greek people of Anatolia left to go to Greece whilst the Turks of Greece came to Turkey. Because there were more Greeks in Turkey than Turks in Greece there were abandoned villages like this scattered across Turkey.
