Montovolo

Montovolo is one of the neighbouring mountains with s shrine on top of it to Our Lady of Consolation. There was also memorials to some youngsters who seemed to die in some kind f plane crash. we walked up the hill from the village of Campolo, which is quite a climb.

Italian Holiday in an Apennine Mountain Village

We're staying for a week in an apartment in the small village of Stanco Di Sopra near Grizzana Morandi in the mountains between Bologna and Florence. It's a beautiful area and so far the weather has been lovely.
